This vintage gay porn film is handsomely shot on location along the Sacramento River and in a rundown rural California town. The production quality is superior and often makes up for the corny narration and stilled acting. The film is a romantic drama told from the point-of-view of an old-timer and truth be told is sometimes unintentionally funny and often corny.
Most of the young men have large thick pricks that are both cut and uncut. Body types range from skinny to a good country boy body that looks cornfed, but nobody in this gay porn film is a gym bunny.
Sex scenes don't vary much but there are plenty of close-ups of erupting cocks, sometimes in slow motion. Film is so much more seductive than video and these boys aren't faking their enjoyment. Both these factors make up for any lack of variety or acting ability.
Duke Benson plays Ernie a simple redneck who returns to his hometown to try to solve the mysterious disappearance of his old lover, Rick. French! accented Burt Edwards plays Rick's brother from Canada who just happens to show up at the same time. The running unspoken joke is that BURT and ERNIE join up to try and get local bad guy, Andy (Leroy Jennings), to confess to killing Rick. Don't worry; they don't look like the Sesame Street character.
One sex scene stands out above the rest. Burt and Ernie find themselves fucking in sprawling green pasture full of cows alongside railroad tracks. We get several well-placed cow reaction shots, and as Bert's fat pale cock erupts, a train goes speeding by. It's a great long scene that is full of metaphors (some funny) and fun sex.
Not the greatest story told but the sex is honest, and the cinematography is flawless.
Scenes include: the great outdoors, boats, lots of cock sucking, anal sex with no condoms, young men, masturbation and plenty of money shots.
